_____ v. _____, Crawford County, Kansas District Court Case No. 12-CV-____ (sealed): Successfully tried dissolution action involving Kansas S-Corps resulting in favorable judgment to one shareholder and ultimate agreed-upon division of corporate entities and assets.

Siemers v. Clark, et al., Jewell County, Kansas District Court Case No. 14-CV-01: After contested motions, secured tax-advantaged resolution of family farm corporation dispute among shareholders.

Agra Risk Solutions Inc. v. Eastwood, United States District Court for the District of Kansas Federal Case No. 6:16-CV-1306-JTM-GLR: Defended Kansas feedlot owner against claims brought by international cattle trader, including competing claims between the parties for breach of contract.

In re: Asbestos Litigation, Belac v. 3M Company, et al., State of Rhode Island Superior Court Civil Action No. 16-0544: Assisted supplier and manufacturer of ceramic molds and associated art supplies in products liability claims for mesothelioma death brought in Rhode Island against various manufacturers and suppliers of asbestos and talc.

Teeter Irrigation Inc. v. Price Bros. Equipment Co., et al., Grant County, Kansas District Court Case No. 15-CV-18: Represented purchaser of commercial trencher in bringing and resolving product liability and breach of warranty claims against trencher manufacturer and dealer.

Rolfes, et al. v. GT Sales & Manufacturing, Inc., Sedgwick County, Kansas District Court Case No. 15-CV-2157: Represented purchaser of business in action involving breach of noncompetition covenants.

Troy v. Ace Hardware Corp, et al., Labette County, Kansas District Court Case No. 15-CV-76: Wrongful death and survivorship action representing widow of decedent killed in automobile accident with semi-truck.

In re Wine, 46 Kan.App.2d 134, 260 P.3d 1234 (2011): Tried case to a favorable judgment before the Kansas Court of Tax Appeals (“COTA”).  Secured affirmance by Kansas Court of Appeals of COTA that the county had illegally appraised over 350 lakefront cabin sites surrounding Council Grove City Lake and ordering the county to reappraise all cabin sites and refund excess ad valorem taxes paid by property owners.

Glazer’s Wholesale Drug Co., Inc., et al. v. Pierce, et al., 145 F.Supp.2d 1234 (D. Kan. 2001) (overturning as violating the Commerce Clause provisions preventing out-of-state distributor from operating in Kansas and awarding attorneys’ fees).

Bacardi U.S.A., Inc. v. Premier Beverage, Inc., 352 F.Supp.2d 1188 (D. Kan. 2005) (successfully defeating liquor supplier’s preemptive attempt to secure declaratory judgment validating termination of franchise agreement with local distributor).

Sbarra v. Sbarra, Sedgwick County, Kansas District Court Case No. 96-D-5733: Successfully overturning antenuptial agreement on the basis of fraud, thereby making approximately $20 million worth of marital assets available for equitable division.

The Peoples Bank, et al. v. Mennonite Health Resources, Inc., et al., Kiowa County, Kansas District Court Case No. 96-C-20: Successful action by bondholders against commercial tenant, corporate and personal guarantors of industrial revenue bond issue that went into default.  Bondholders recovered judgment in excess of $500,000 on summary judgment.
